Come and learn with us. All parents welcome. Pre-Registration is required. Workshops run the second Wednesday of every other month from 7:00pm-8:15pm. Babies in arms welcome.
To register, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and indicate what workshop you would like to attend and how many people you’d like to register. There is a $10 workshop fee per person, payable in cash at the door. There is a limit of 15 guests per session.

Kathy is Canada’s leading parenting expert, and is a passionate speaker on child and family issues.
Kathy was born in Ottawa, she was raised in Calgary and she attended university in Montreal. She now lives with her family in Vancouver, and travels extensively speaking to groups on parenting and family issues.
Kathy began her career as a child protection worker and director of a family services agency. In 1978 she became a professional speaker and began to focus her efforts on helping Canadian families to raise responsible children. She is a certified family education speaker.
She has written three books on parenting, the first of which is now a Canadian best seller. She has also hosted a television show and a radio phone-in program and she currently writes parenting columns for several newspapers. Kathy was named the Woman of Worth 2007 at the annual WOW conference.
She has been involved with parent participation since the early 70′s when her children attended, was the vice-chair of the Board, is the parent ed advisor to the Board and has been a popular parent education speaker for many years. She has also been presented with an honorary life membership to the council.
Over her three decades of work in this field Kathy has addressed more than 72,000 parents and childcare professionals. And her activities in radio and TV have added many millions to that list.
She is also the mother of two and grandmother of three.
